Fair Isle garments are crafted by skilled artisans, techniques handed down through generations. It is a traditional knotted technique used to create patterns with multiple colours. This is a style of knitting that is characterised by bands of multi coloured geometric patterns. Horizontal motifs, crosses, diamonds and eight-pointed stars from coloured strands of wool.
